    Idle-TV earnings calculator

Pick a price per 10-second play and see what it means in dollars, for the advertiser who books your screen and for you. We've filled in an example; change any of it.

We're growing the network. Every booking is free while we test with real venues and advertisers; paid ad time opens later, with at least 30 days' notice.

It's free during launch to grow the network and test the whole system with real venues and advertisers.

Your owner account is also an advertiser account, so you can advertise your own business free on the other screens in the network while we grow. Your screen, your rules: approve ads yourself or automatically, set your hours, and pause any time.

    Your price

We suggest $0.20. You set your own price, in 10¢ steps.

    Your estimate

    A 30-second ad, 4 times an hour for 12 hours a day, 30 days a month, at $0.20 a play.

One showing of the ad costs
    30 seconds at $0.20 per 10 seconds
    $0.60
    The advertiser pays a day
48 showings × $0.60, plus payment processing at cost
    $28.80
    You keep a day
    80% of $28.80
    $23.04

You keep about $691 a month

80% of 30 days of this example, rounded to the dollar.

The most one hour can sell

A fully booked hour is 360 ten-second plays: $72.00, of which you keep $57.60. It's a ceiling, not what to expect.

This is your own estimate from the numbers above: not a promise, and not what other venues make. It uses your base price only; busy-hour pricing, off-peak prices or a bulk discount you set would change it. The advertiser pays payment processing as its own line, at cost, so it doesn't come out of your 80%. Amounts are in US dollars.

Put your screen to work: free while we grow; earn 80% once paid ad time opens, with at least 30 days' notice.
